Responsibilities:
Machine Setup:
Prepare and set up CNC machines including mills, lathes, or routers by loading appropriate tools, inputting program codes, and ensuring machine readiness for production.
Programming and Operation:
Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and instructions to program CNC machines.
Operate machinery to perform tasks such as cutting, drilling, milling, or grinding to produce precision parts within specified tolerances.
Quality Control:
Conduct regular quality checks using precision measurement tools to verify conformance of finished products to quality standards.
Make necessary adjustments to maintain quality and accuracy.
Maintenance and Troubleshooting:
Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines to ensure optimal performance.
Troubleshoot issues that may arise during production and make necessary adjustments or repairs.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of machine operations, maintenance, and production activities.
Complete necessary paperwork and reports.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a CNC Machinist or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
Experience with GibbsCAM.
Proficiency in reading technical drawings and blueprints.
Strong knowledge of CNC programming and operation.
Familiarity with precision measurement tools and quality control processes.
Ability to troubleshoot machinery and perform routine maintenance.
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Preferred
Qualifications:
Vocational or technical training in CNC machining or related field.
Certifications in CNC programming or operation.
Experience with specific software or machinery relevant to the company's operations.
