0 Theodore, AL Theodore, AL Full-time Full-time $24 - $31 an hour $24 - $31 an hour 14 days ago 14 days ago 14 days ago ABOUT THE ROLE Work with other members of the quality team to ensure the uninterrupted operation of the plant by providing timely and accurate process control information, ensuring that all testing equipment is operating properly and by certifying that the completed product meets intended specifications.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING General Laboratory Safety (chemical storage/SDS/equipment/housekeeping) Field sampling / splitting / equipment cleaning.
X-Ray sample preparation/troubleshooting/maintenance/housekeeping.
Fused beads preparation/troubleshooting/maintenance.
Manual sample preparation/housekeeping (crushers/pulverizers/manual mill/manual press) Understanding sample storage system / creation of cement composites The following testing required (but not limited to):
XRF/XRD operation/minor troubleshooting and maintenance, Blaine Testing/reporting, LECO Operation/reporting, Sieve testing (dry sieve)/reporting, LOI testing/reporting, Wet freelime testing/reporting, Moisture analysis/reporting, Raw Material testing/reporting, Compression machine operation, Automated mixer operation, % Air Content testing/reporting.
Interpret the data and make forward thinking decisions.
Monitor processes and understand trends.
Maintain supplies(compressed air/housekeeping supplies) Data entry into LIMS.
Work closely with the control room operators.
Lift/carry up to 30 pounds.
Other duties as assigned.
