The Profit Center Manager's primary mission is to ensure safe, efficient, and superior customer experiences with Climate Control's equipment and services by following company procedures and leading others to do likewise. The Profit Center Manager will be the main contact for the location and all employees will report to this position.
Additional Responsibilities:
Daily Operation Responsibilities: Maintaining a safe, secure warehouse and office. This includes monitoring access and maintaining a system where all doors are locked and secured when employees are away from the premises. Also, keeping the facility clean and safe in accordance with company standards as well as minimizing utility costs. The Profit Center Manager will ensure that all contracts are received and meet company standards for accuracy and completeness.
Sales Responsibilities: The primary responsibility is to meet and exceed revenue goal for personal territory via the development of targeted accounts including contractors, hospitals, property management, and special event companies. The secondary focus is to support Sales Engineers through training, planning, and follow-up to ensure the Profit Center is meeting and exceeding its revenue goals.
Staff Management: This includes weekly scheduling, goal setting, and planning as well as conducting performance and compensation reviews in coordination with Regional Manager. It is also the responsibility of the Manager to provide and/or schedule training for service technicians as well as participate in ride-a-longs on a regular basis to ensure customers are receiving the highest level of service. If there is an opportunity for improvement, the Manager should provide suggestions to either the technician and/or the company.
Fleet Management: Manage company vehicles through weekly inspections and repairing vehicles that do not meet company standards for safety, operation, or appearance. Managing all assets and performing scheduled inventory reconciliations. Minimizing down equipment by ordering necessary parts for repair in order to maintain a "ready to rent" fleet. Identify under-utilized equipment for sale or transfer. Communicate with Regional Manager for inventory needs based on activity and revenue goals.
Four years previous operations and/ or management experience.
Track record of customer service experience required.
Experience with equipment - HVAC preferred
Working knowledge of Profit and Loss (P&L) statements and budgets
Must have excellent oral and written communication skills, along with effective supervisory skills.
Able to lift, bend, stoop, squat, reach, crouch and kneel.
Computer literate, including Windows, Adobe Acrobat, and the Microsoft Office suite of products

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
