Ensuring Chart s Success

The HR Business Partner is a hands-on role that provides full cycle human resources support to our production facility in Theodore.
This will be the sole HR professional on site and is critical in executing our people initiatives as we expand this location's production footprint.
The HRBP will partner with site leaders to ensure the Theodore facility has solid programs and strategies intended to attract and retain top talent, build a culture of working hard, having fun, focusing on the customer and working safely.
This individual will develop and own site programs, such as communications, recognition, and engagement.
The HRBP must be a self-starter capable of operating with a sense of urgency and managing multiple initiatives with ease.
Exceptional organizational skills are critical for this position to be successful.

What Your Day-to-Day Activities Will Be

  • Manage all facets of recruitment process from sourcing, screening, hiring to onboarding new hires.
    Partners with local leadership to evaluate and address workforce planning needs.
  • Works with shared services payroll, benefits and other groups to identify and resolve employee issues pertaining to pay, benefits, etc.
  • Partners and coaches site supervisors on the delivery of performance conversations, real time feedback and executing corrective action processes.
  • Manages the site's performance management program for both salaried and hourly employees.
  • Communicates and interprets Company policies and procedures.
    Serves as the primary source of information pertaining to Company policy and HR procedures.
    Consults with broader HR management team on non-routine inquiries, as necessary, to ensure consistent application of policies.
  • Conducts annual compliance training.
  • Manages and presents the HR metrics for the Theodore facility.
  • Conducts exit interviews, analyzes data and makes recommendations regarding corrective actions and continuous improvement to site leadership.

Your Education Should Be

  • Bachelor s degree from a four-year college or university and 5
    years of human resources generalist work experience is required.
    Work experience must reflect a progressive growth in complexity of work assignments, responsibilities and overall role scope.
    Candidates with HR experience in manufacturing are strongly preferred.

Your Physical Work Environment Will Require

  • Lift up to 15 pounds
  • Sitting, standing, stooping, bending, other related tasks in an office setting

Your Professional Experience Should Be

  • 5
    years of HR generalist experience (experience must reflect a progressive growth in complexity of work assignments, responsibilities and role scope)
  • HR for manufacturing, extremely desirable
  • Experience recruiting for manufacturing roles, extremely desirable
  • Solid knowledge of Alabama labor law
  • Proven knowledge of FMLA/ADA issues and a proven track record of executing that knowledge
  • Broad knowledge of benefits, payroll, employee relations, etc.
  • Must possess excellent verbal and written communication
  • Proven record of collaborating and building strong, trusting relationships across the site, organization and divisions
  • The ability to serve as a link between management and employees by handling questions, interpreting and administering policies, and providing guidance.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
